The former OPP station in Palmerston could be turned into affordable housing.
Officials with Wellington County say they have requested the province’s approval to renovate the Daly Street building into 11 affordable housing units.
If approved, construction could begin next spring with the building expected to be ready to move into by early 2018.
The federal and provincial governments have allocated a total of $1.5 million in funding for affordable housing projects in Palmerston.
