A 35-year-old man is facing a total of 11 charges, including one count of attempted murder, following an alleged attack.

Guelph Police say the charge stems from a call to a Bristol Street residence late Friday morning.

Once at the residence, police found a woman who had allegedly been injured by a man.

The man, who police say knew the woman prior to the attack, faces charges including attempted murder, aggravated assault, four counts of uttering threats, two counts of assault, two counts of mischief, and one count of breach of probation.
