A house fire just outside Guelph’s downtown core was extinguished quickly Sunday morning.

Fire officials say the fire was reported at 6:40 a.m., and brought crews from four fire stations to 62 Arthur Street South.

When they arrived, they found smoke coming from the roof of the building.

The fire department says the fire was brought under control quickly, and then extinguished for good.

No injuries were reported.

The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
