Charges have been laid in connection with an incident which shut Highway 9 through Clifford for several hours.
A tactical team and other police officers were called to the community last Friday, after receiving a call about a man barricaded in an apartment on Allen Street East.
According to the OPP, he had threatened to harm police officers.
After more than four hours, the man was taken into custody and the highway reopened.
A 32-year-old man from Clifford faces charges of uttering threats and failing to comply with the terms of his probation.
