A deal has been ratified between 130 social workers and management at Children’s and Family Services of Guelph and Wellington County.
The agreement was reached with the help of a moderator was approved Thursday afternoon.
Workers , represented by CUPE , had been on strike for almost three weeks.
Talks had broken down and were suspended at one point between the two parties.
The workers had been without a contract since March 2015.
This new deal will run until March 31, 2018.
A union representative tells CTV that well over 50 per cent of workers voted in favour and that they look forward to getting back to work on Monday.
