A Waterloo man is facing charges following a collision in Guelph that left four people injured, two of them seriously.
The crash happened around 6:15 p.m. Monday at Willow and Imperial roads.
According to Guelph Police, a northbound SUV was making a left turn onto Willow when it hit a car, which was travelling southbound on Imperial.
All four people in the car were taken to hospital. Police said a 38-year-old Guelph woman and a 39-year-old Guelph woman were seriously hurt, while the injuries to two eight-year-old girls were less severe. All four had been released from hospital by Tuesday morning.
The 29-year-old Waterloo man driving the SUV is facing charges of dangerous driving causing bodily harm and drug-impaired driving causing bodily harm.
