Wellington County OPP are treating a fire that broke out Sunday evening, south of Arthur, as suspicious.
Fire crews were called out Sunday just before 9:00 p.m. A fire was spotted on Sideroad 25 near First Line. Renovation materials were ablaze outside a vacant house. The fire had spread to a nearby tree, but the fire was extinguished before it could damage the house.
The cause of the fire is considered is suspicious and the investigation will continue Monday.
The fire is the latest in a string of suspicious fires in Wellington County over the last several months.
