A man was taken to hospital with serious injuries after he was stabbed in Guelph Sunday afternoon.

Police were called to the Guelph Public Library on Norfolk Street around 3:30 p.m.

The man received medical care from paramedics at the scene and was then taken to hospital.

His injuries are serious but not life-threatening.

Police say they’re still looking for the person who stabbed him.

Anyone who was in the area at the time of the incident is asked to call Guelph Police.

It’s believed the stabbing happened near the road so they’re also asking anyone with a dashcam to contact them.
