An incident in a Fergus dog park has police reminding the public to keep an eye on what their dogs are eating.
Wellington County OPP say they were called to the dog park on Glengarry Crescent last Friday, in response to a concern about “suspicious-looking dog food.”
At the park, officers came across a number of blue patches in the snow.
Those patches contained white pellets that looked like dog kibble, police said. It is not clear what they actually were.
The pellets were all cleaned up.
