Police are investigating after thousands of dollars worth of antiques were stolen from a farm property in Wellington County.

According to police, the break-in likely occurred sometime between mid-February and last weekend, when it was discovered.

Taken from the barn – which is located on Wellington Road 42, along the border of Halton Hills and the Town of Erin – were $8,000 worth of antique wood.

The haul included barn board wood as well as cow yokes, which are normally used to help cattle pull heavy loads.

Anyone with information is asked to contact Wellington County OPP or Crime Stoppers.
