Provincial police have released the name of a pedestrian who was seriously injured in Guelph, Ont., early Saturday morning.
They say 20-year-old Uriah Hartung was hit by a Chevrolet at about 1 a.m., at the intersection of College Avenue and Highway 6.
Investigators say Hartung suffered life-threatening injuries and remains in a Hamilton hospital.
The driver of the Chevrolet 25-year-old Lea Ramos of Newmarket was also taken to hospital with minor injuries.
Police are continuing their investigation and are asking anyone who witnessed the collision to come forward.
