A riding lawnmower, a washer and dryer, two pellet guns and three knives were some of the items stolen from a home north of Arthur.

The theft was the result of a break-in at an apartment and shed on a property on Sideroad 7 West in Wellington North.

The break-in is believed to have occurred sometime between 11 p.m. Friday and noon Saturday.

Wellington County OPP say the intruders forced their way through doors to get into the apartment, and entered the shed by digging a hole underneath a doorway.

The full tally of stolen items includes a riding lawnmower, a washer and dryer, a TV, an Xbox 360, two pellet guns, a blade knife, a folding knife, a pocket knife and a machete.
