A truck driver was airlifted to a Hamilton hospital in critical condition Friday morning following a multi-vehicle crash on Highway 6.
The crash occurred around 8:30 a.m. between Sideroad 7 and Sideroad 8, north of Arthur.
Police say the man’s transport truck was northbound on the highway when it came upon a line of cars stopped for a school bus that was picking up kids.
While attempting to stop, the transport truck hit a second truck. The collision sent the transport truck into the ditch, where it rolled over.
Further details were not immediately available.
Highway 6 was expected to remain closed into the afternoon.
