Dozens of firefighters arrived a farm property in Guelph/Eramosa Friday morning to find a farmhouse engulfed in flames.

Firefighters from several communities were called to the property – on Third Line between Guelph and Rockwood – shortly after 6 a.m.

By 10:30 a.m., the farmhouse had been destroyed and the remains were still smouldering.

Firefighters at the scene said it was too soon to tell what had sparked the flames.

No injuries were reported. The owner of the property does not use the farmhouse, firefighters said.
