Gas, diesel prices drop again Sunday in the Maritimes

Prices at the pumps dropped over the weekend in all three Maritime provinces.

The price of gas and diesel decreased overnight on Prince Edward Island. Diesel prices also fell in New Brunswick.

It’s the second time this weekend prices have dropped.

Prince Edward Island

The price of regular self-serve gasoline on P.E.I. decreased by 3.5 cents. The minimum price is now 190.2. This follows a 4.6 cent drop on Saturday.

The price of diesel decreased by 8.1 cents. The minimum price is now 242.5 cents per litre. This follows a decrease of 5.7 cents on Saturday.

New Brunswick

The price of diesel in New Brunswick decreased by 7.4 cents per litre to a new maximum of 233.0. This follows a drop of 7.8 cents on Saturday.

The price of regular self-serve gasoline did not change Sunday. The maximum price remains at 184.4 cents per litre.

Nova Scotia

The price of regular self-serve gasoline in the Halifax area did not change Sunday. The minimum price remains 178.7 cents per litre following a drop of 6.7 cents on Saturday.

The minimum price of diesel is still 223.1 cents per litre.

In Cape Breton, the minimum price of regular self-serve gasoline remains at 180.6 cents per litre while the minimum price of diesel is 225.0 cents per litre.
