Moncton man wanted for ‘escaping lawful custody’ at a health institution

A 28-year-old Moncton, N.B., man is wanted by police for “escaping lawful custody” at a health institution.

The Codiac Regional RCMP says Jesse Bonnell was last seen on Macbeath Avenue around 9:05 p.m. Thursday.

Bonnell is described as five-foot-five, 159 pounds, with blue eyes, brown hair and a medium build. He also has a few tattoos – one on his right forearm with “Pain is inevitable, suffering is optional,” on his left forearm with barbwire, and on the left side of his chest of a banner, a firearm and an army helmet. He was last seen wearing a white T-shirt and jeans.

Police are warning the public not to approach him and to call 911 immediately if they see him.

Police are asking anyone with information on Bonnell’s whereabouts to contact the Codiac Regional RCMP at 506-857-2400 or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477.
