Attention music fans: Music festival to feature The Tragically Hip band member

A music festival is bringing a star-studded lineup to the northern part of the region this summer.

The award-winning Tall Pines Music and Arts Festival, which is in its fifth year, is featuring an all-Canadian lineup of talented rock and alternative musicians.

Paul Langlois from The Tragically Hip and Hawksley Workman & The Wolves will headline the Friday night and The Tea Party and ODDS will take the stage Saturday night. The festival promises more acts to be announced at a later date.

For those looking for a more chilled-out vibe, the Unplugged North stage will feature a lineup of musical talent as well.

Along with the lineup announcement, the festival will be partnering with MRG Live, Canada’s largest independent concert and entertainment production company.

In addition to the musical entertainment, the festival offers something for everyone including an Artisan Vendor Village showcasing talented artists from the region and the Food Truck Row filled with local food vendors. Additionally, the festival will have a Safe Cannabis Consumption Zone, which the festival says is “a secure, legal space for responsible adult enjoyment” and a Kids Zone for family-friendly activities.

A community-focused, Tall Pines welcomes all ages to the festival.

Single-day adult tickets cost $99 per day.

Youth ages 13 to 18 are half-price and children 12 and under are free.

Tall Pines is July 17 and 18 from 3 p.m. to 11 p.m., taking place at The Muskoka Wharf.

The Tall Pines Music and Arts Festival won Tourism Event of the Year award at the Ontario Tourism Awards of Excellence in 2024.
