Two people hospitalized following fire in central Barrie

Barrie police say a Thursday afternoon fire in central Barrie sent two people to hospital.

According to police, the call for a vehicle fire in the area of Tiffin Street and Anne Street south came in around 2 p.m. on Thursday.

As a result of the fire, police say two people were hospitalized with minor injuries.

At this time, police say, the fire is not being considered suspicious.
