Place of worship in Guelph defaced with hate-related graffiti twice

The Guelph Police Service is looking for the person or people who painted hate-related graffiti at a place of worship in the city’s south-end.

Officers were called to the property near Gordon Street and College Avenue twice since the end of May. At this point in the investigation, they aren’t sure if the two incidents are connected, but they are both being investigated by the Guelph Police Service’s hate crime unit.

Although police did not name the place of worship, Chabad Guelph said their Chabad Pop-Up location had been targeted with “heinous antisemitic graffiti.”
