Downtown London stabbing sends man to hospital, suspect remains at large

Police say a suspect is at large after a stabbing in downtown London that left one person with serious injuries.

Officers were called to the 600 block of Dundas Street at around 6:20 p.m. Monday.

When police arrived, they found a man suffering from serious but non-life-threatening injuries. He was taken to hospital by paramedic services.

Investigators later determined the incident happened in the area of Dundas and William streets.

Police believe the victim and the suspect are not known to each other.

The suspect is described as a white man wearing a black sweater or jacket, a camouflage T-shirt, a black hat, black shorts and black shoes. He was last seen riding a mountain bike and may have a tattoo on his right hand.

Investigators are asking anyone who was in the area at the time, or who may have dash-camera, residential or business surveillance footage, to contact police.
