Man accused of drugging, sexually assaulting 4 women he met at Montreal bars: police

Montreal police say a man is facing several charges after he allegedly drugged four women without their knowledge before sexually assaulting them after meeting them in bars.

Police allege the incidents happened on four separate occasions between August 2025 and January 2026 and that the accused met the women in Montreal bars.

Jean-Philippe Oubda, 29, was arrested on Wednesday and appeared in court to face charges of sexual assault, administering a noxious substance, and resisting arrest. He remains in custody.

Investigators believe he might have other victims and on Friday, police released three photos of him to the public.

According to police, the accused approached the women in the bars and then invited them to his home where the assaults allegedly took place.

Oubda has a dark complexion and spoke in French with the complainants. He is five feet six inches tall, weighs about 143 pounds, and has brown eyes and brown hair.
