Espanola students, calling themselves Jill’s Courage Crew, rallied for teacher Jill Beer after her uterine cancer diagnosis, joining her 100km fundraising walk. More than 500 people took part in Friday's event. Beer, who is awaiting surgery, called the support overwhelming.
