A sunny, hot and humid day is in the forecast for Ottawa today, but cooler temperatures and up to 15 millimetres of rain are expected on Tuesday.

Environment Canada’s forecast calls for sunshine and a high of 30 C today. With the humidex, it will feel like 32.

There will be increasing cloudiness this evening with a 40 per cent chance of showers. Showers will begin before morning. Low 20 C.

Wednesday will see showers with the risk of a thunderstorm. Environment Canada says 10 to 15 mm of rain is possible. High 22 C.

Thursday will be cloudy with a 40 per cent chance of showers. High 31 C.

The outlook for Friday calls for cloudy with a 40 per cent chance of showers. High 31 C.

A mix of sun and cloud is expected on Saturday. High 28 C.

The normal temperatures for this time of year are a high of 24 C and a low of 13 C.
