Woman dead, two injured after head-on collision near Kingston

Ontario Provincial Police say a 57-year-old woman died in a head-on collision in South Frontenac on Thursday morning.

According to a news release from OPP, officers responded to the two-vehicle collision on Road 38 in Harrowsmith, which is approximately 26 kilometres northwest of Kingston, at around 11:40 a.m.

Police say the woman was pronounced dead at the scene, and two other individuals were taken to the hospital with minor injuries.

OPP are investigating and ask anyone who witnessed the incident or who has relevant dashcam footage to contact the Frontenac detachment at 1-888-310-1122.
