Suspect sought in meta glasses robbery at Surrey SkyTrain station

Surrey police are asking for the public’s help to identify a suspect in alleged robbery near a SkyTrain station last month.

Two victims reported they had been assaulted, robbed and threatened near Surrey Central SkyTrain station around 7:10 p.m. on April 24, according to the Surrey Police Service.

Police say a pair of Meta glasses were stolen in the incident.

The SPS describes the suspect as a Black man in his 20s with a “slim build.” He was wearing a backpack, black jeans and a black sweater at the time.

The department asked anyone with information or who can identify the suspect to call 604-599-0502 and quote file number 26-39283, or contact Crime Stoppers to remain anonymous.
