Tentative agreement reached between U of G and union

The Canadian Union of Public Employees (CUPE) Local 3913 and the University of Guelph reached a tentative agreement on Saturday evening.

The two sides have been negotiating off and on since last fall. The more recent talks had been conducted with a mediator appointed by the province present.

The agreement details are confidential as they are pending approval by the members of CUPE 3913 and the university’s board of governors.
