Hi Everyone!
Remember how excited you were before having your very first school picture taken? That excitement turned to nerves for me as I decided my hair wasn’t quite right for my grade primary snapshots. And so, in my 5-year-old wisdom, I decided to give myself a bang trim. Yup, I grabbed my art scissors and mangled by eye-brow length bangs.
When my mother found me, with scissors in hand and hair on floor, she asked why I did it. I had the nerve to deny having any part in the “trim”. In fact, I concocted a story that a stranger had come in to my room and given me the new style.
Years later, it’s a funny family story, made even funnier by the supporting photo evidence.
Having said all that, I’ve always wanted to inspire a celebrity’s look. I guess I can take that off my bucket list ;) (see photo above).
So what inspired this little story from my past? I owe that to the little girl featured in Section Six tonight. Check out the video below of her explaining her new look to her mother…
