Inverness County District RCMP says a provincewide arrest warrant has been issued for a 31-year-old Port Hawkesbury, N.S., man.
Leilan Andrew Thibeau faces charges including carrying a concealed weapon, assaulting a peace officer, resist arrest, failure to comply with conditions of a release order, breach of probation, and failure to attend court, said a Saturday news release.
Thibeau is described as five-foot-four and 140 pounds with black balding hair and brown eyes.
Police say they have made several attempts to locate Thibeau and are asking the public for assistance.
Anyone with information on Thibeau’s whereabouts is asked to refrain from approaching him and to call Inverness County District RCMP at 902-625-2220 or Nova Scotia Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477.
