Tuesday is the last day to vote by special ballot at any Elections Canada office, ahead of the April 28 general federal election.
Tuesday is also the deadline to apply to vote by mail with a special ballot, and to request sign language interpretation on election day.
Special ballot voting began in acute care centres, including hospitals, on Sunday and will continue until Tuesday.
Elections Canada says a record number of people voted Friday on the first of four advance voting days with nearly two million ballots cast. The agency says Friday’s ballot count is about 36 per cent more than the first day of advance polls in the 2021 election.
Elections Canada says it will provide the total number of votes cast during the four days of advance polls on Tuesday.
