Ingredients
- 600 ml red sauce of your choosing (bolognaise is a good choice)
- 250 gm large pasta shells
- 200 gm mascarpone cheese
- 125 gm mozzarella cubed (can be substituted for other cheese)
- 1 tbsp Italian seasoning
- 1 tsp olive oil
- 1 bunch basil
- ½ cup Parmesan to serve
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Cook pasta shells until al dente.
- Preheat oven to 425.
- Cook or heat sauce.
- Line baking tray with warmed sauce.
- Combine 200 gm mascarpone cheese with 125 gm cubed mozzarella, 1 tbsp Italian seasoning, 1 tbsp torn basil, and 1 tsp Italian seasoning. Mix until combined.
- Stuff shells with mascarpone mixture and place facing up on top of sauce mix.
- Place pasta in oven to bake for 30 minutes, or until cheese is melted and shells are fully cooked.
- Top with torn basil and grated parmesan.
