Woman, 22, dies after rollover crash in New Brunswick

A 22-year-old woman from Doaktown, N.B., has died following a single-vehicle crash in Boiestown, N.B.

RCMP, along with firefighters and paramedics, responded to the crash on Highway 8 around 5:15 p.m. Monday.

The force believes the crash happened when the vehicle, which was travelling northbound, lost control and rolled over several times.

Police say the driver and sole occupant of the vehicle was taken to hospital where she later died.

A member of the New Brunswick Coroner’s office and an RCMP collision reconstructionist are assisting with the ongoing investigation.

An autopsy is scheduled to determine the woman’s exact cause of death.
