A fire broke out at the AIM recycling depot in Fredericton, N.B., Thursday afternoon.
James McGuigan, a public information officer for the city, said a small fire that involved some debris and scrap metal at the facility has been contained after a call came in around 2:49 p.m.
McGuigan said an air advisory has been lifted after a smoke warning was issued because of hazardous materials.
There was no indication that anyone was injured but McGuigan said there will be an investigation to determine the cause of the fire.
