A boil water advisory for Bathurst, N.B., has been lifted.
The town lifted the advisory at approximately 1:30 p.m. Sunday in an update to the original advisory on Friday.
A major water main break caused the advisory. The city says the break happened Thursday near King Avenue and Melanson Street and caused a significant drop in the system’s pressure.
The city said crews contended with deep frozen ground and challenging conditions to reach and repair the break.
