Annapolis Valley man charged in connection with drug trafficking investigation: Kentville police

A 26-year-old man from Canaan, N.S., has been charged in connection with an ongoing investigation into methamphetamine trafficking.

The man was arrested Friday in downtown Kentville, N.S., according to a social media post from the Kentville Police Service on Monday.

According to the police, officers seized:

• a quantity of suspected methamphetamine
• cash
• mobile devices
• other evidence of trafficking

The street value of the suspected drugs seized is up to $850, representing over 80 individual doses.

Alexander James Kenneth Taylor-Fredericks, is charged with:

• possession of methamphetamine for the purpose of trafficking
• possession of proceeds of crime under $5,000
• failing to comply with a probation order

He was remanded into custody and is set to appear in court on Monday.
