Halifax police presence on Uniacke Street due to firearms investigation

There was a Halifax Regional Police presence on Uniacke Street Thursday evening as part of a firearms investigation.

Police said they were searching a residence in the area around 7 p.m. on Thursday.

The street was closed to vehicle and pedestrian traffic but has since reopened.
