Halifax police search for man allegedly involved in motor vehicle theft

Police are searching for a man allegedly involved in a motor vehicle theft in Dartmouth, N.S., last month.

According to a news release, police responded to a report of a vehicle being stolen from the driveway of a home on Saint Clair Avenue on Jan. 17. The theft is believed to have happened between 11:30 p.m. the night before and 7:45 a.m.

Police say the vehicle has since been recovered.

After investigating, police got video of the alleged suspect. He’s described by police as a man in his late 20s, weighing around 140 pounds, six-feet tall, with brown hair, a beard, and brown eyes.
