A man has pleaded not guilty in connection to the homicide of Nova Scotia teenager Devon Sinclair Marsman.
According to the Nova Scotia Public Prosecution Service, the male, who was a youth at the time of the murder, pleaded not guilty to accessory after the fact to murder and obstructing justice.
The man elected trial by judge alone, which will begin on Oct. 5, 2026.
Marsman, 16, was last seen on Feb. 24, 2022, in the Spryfield area of Halifax. He was reported missing to police on March 4, 2022.
Police later determined his disappearance was suspicious.
In February, police said human remains that were found in September 2024 had been positively identified as Marsman’s.
In total, five people have been charged in connection to the homicide.
