N.S. RCMP looking for man who allegedly used knife in grocery store robbery

The Nova Scotia RCMP is looking for a man who allegedly used a knife in a grocery store robbery in Middleton on Wednesday afternoon.

A man allegedly assaulted an employee at a Commercial Street grocery store before fleeing the scene on foot. The employee suffered non-life-threatening injuries.

The man is described as being in his 20s. He was wearing a blue plaid jacket, black Adidas sneakers, light-coloured sweatpants and a mask during the incident.

Police have recovered the sneakers and jacket.

Anyone who sees the man is asked to not approach him and call 911. Anyone with information on the incident can call police at 902-825-2000.
