Ontario woman dead after motorcycle crash in Cape Breton

A 61-year-old Ontario woman is dead after a motorcycle lost control and crashed into an eastbound lane on Highway 105 in Queensville, N.S.

Emergency crews responded to the crash around 10:40 a.m. on Friday. The 54-year-old driver from Port Dover, Ont., went to hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

The female passenger, who was also from Port Dover, was pronounced dead at the scene, according to an RCMP news release.

The investigation is ongoing.

“Our thoughts are with the woman’s loved ones at this difficult time,” the release reads.
