Police are asking for help from the public in finding a man who allegedly harassed a restaurant worker in New Glasgow, N.S., four months ago.

New Glasgow Regional Police say they responded to a report that six patrons were harassing a female employee at Pizza Delight on East River Road on Sept. 9, 2024.

According to a release from police on Wednesday, the man they are searching for allegedly touched the back of the staff member’s leg while she was placing plates on a table. When the employee returned to clear the plates, the same man allegedly touched her a second time, leading to the group being asked to leave.

After being asked to leave, an argument ensued, and police say the man made derogatory comments at the employee and threw a fork at her before leaving.

Anyone who has any information or who recognizes the man in the photo is asked to contact police at 902-752-1941 or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477.

The investigation is ongoing.
