Two arrested after cocaine, meth seized from Dartmouth home

A man and woman have been charged after police seized drugs from a home in Dartmouth, N.S.

The RCMP says officers stopped a taxi travelling on Nantucket Avenue in Dartmouth on Feb. 27 in connection with an ongoing drug trafficking investigation.

During the stop, police arrested a 40-year-old man and a 24-year-old woman.

Police say officers then searched a home on Charlottetown Way in Dartmouth.

During the search police seized:

  • cocaine
  • methamphetamines
  • drug paraphernalia
  • cash
  • cellphones

The man and woman were later released on conditions.

Both are scheduled to appear in Dartmouth provincial court at 9:30 a.m. on April 15 to face charges of:

  • possession of cocaine for the purpose of trafficking
  • possession of methamphetamines for the purpose of trafficking
