Two in custody following search warrants in Cole Harbour: N.S. RCMP

Two men are in custody after police searched two homes in Cole Harbour, N.S., Thursday morning.

In a social media post just after 6 a.m., the Nova Scotia RCMP said officers were on Flying Cloud Drive and Silistria Drive executing search warrants in connection with an ongoing investigation.

Police advised residents to expect an increased police presence in both areas and said there was no threat to the public.

Both roads were closed during the searches but they reopened around 6:30 a.m.

The force says a police presence will remain at both locations as the investigation continues.
