P.E.I. police looking for man wanted for assault, arson

Two RCMP detachments on P.E.I. are looking for a man wanted for several offences over the past five weeks.

The Queens District RCMP says 35-year-old Charles “Chad” Boshuis is wanted on the following charges:

  • assault in relation to an alleged incident on Feb. 24
  • failure to comply with a probation order on Feb. 25
  • failing to attend court on March 17

Meanwhile, the Kings District RCMP is also looking for Boshuis, who is facing the following charges in connection with an alleged incident on Friday.

  • arson with disregard for human life
  • mischief damage to a motor vehicle
  • possession of incendiary material
  • two counts of failing to comply with a probation order

Police have not released any details about the alleged incidents.

Boshuis is described as six-foot-one and 205 pounds with brown hair and blue eyes.

The RCMP is asking anyone with information on his whereabouts to contact them at 902-566-7112.
