An 83-year-old man has died in a single-vehicle crash on Prince Edward Island.
RCMP said officers responded to the crash on Route 177 in Wellington around 11 a.m. Saturday. Police said it appears the driver left the road and ended up in a small waterway.
A Summerside man was found dead at the scene.
Earlier in the day, police said the man had been reported missing after not being seen since Friday morning.
The road was closed for several hours. Police said the investigation was assisted by Provincial Conservation Officers and the Department of Transportation.
