The Prince Edward Island RCMP says a two-vehicle collision has sent one person to hospital.
Police said they were at the scene of the collision on the Stratford side of the Hillsborough River Bridge around 7 p.m. Wednesday.
“A traffic light pole has come down as a result of the collision and the lights are flashing red in all directions at the Stratford Esso intersection right off the bridge,” the post read.
Motorists were asked to use caution in the area.
Police said one person was taken to the Queen Elizabeth Hospital in Charlottetown following the crash. The extent of their injuries is unknown.
