The local woman accused of falsifying documents and assuming the identity of a nurse in order to work in long-term care homes could soon be resolving her criminal charges.
A representative for Hailey Roberts told the court during a virtual Collingwood court appearance, the accused intends to resolve matters in the coming months.

Court documents obtained by CTV News reveal Roberts, 34, was recently charged by provincial police with assault with a weapon, fraud, falsifying a police record check and impersonating a nurse for financial gain between May 2021 and September 2022.
The newly-obtained court records reveal Roberts is alleged to have worked for Gifted Hands Health Services, a staffing agency in Pickering. Roberts is charged with assault stemming from allegations she injected an elderly Midland woman in 2022.

The latest charges are similar to 19 other counts laid against Roberts last year. Police allege the Tiny Township, Ont. woman falsified employment documents, certificates and record checks to illegally work as a nurse at long-term care homes despite being unregistered and unqualified to do so. The homes were located in Midland, Elmvale and Stayner. It is alleged Roberts used needles to inject patients with vaccines and medications. It remains unclear if some or all of the charges will be resolving.
Several people came forward to CTV News alleging they had been defrauded by Roberts dating back several years. At least two men claimed Roberts pretended to be pregnant and forged their signatures before stealing thousands of dollars from their bank accounts.

A former Barrie landlord told CTV News Roberts moved into her rental property and illegally squatted in the home for a year starting in 2019. The Landlord Tenant Board and Small Claims Court ruled in the landlord’s favour, awarding her about $62,000. She said Roberts hadn’t paid her a penny.
Roberts is represented by Barrie defence lawyer Mitch Eisen.
The allegations against Roberts have not been tested in court. A virtual court appearance is scheduled in April.
