Car, bike or bus? Barrie wants to know your wheels of choice

The city of Barrie says its population is on track to grow by 2051 and as more people get here, they will need way to get around.

To help plan for the future, the residents have been invited to the city’s third “public information centre” to help discuss the transportation master plan for the future.

The meeting will be held on Thursday, 5 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. at 70 Collier Street, in the Sir Robert Barrie Room on the second floor.

The city says the meeting will be held in a drop-in format, and city staff will be available to provide information on the master plan’s study, as well as answer questions and listen to feedback from residents.

The city held its first two meetings on Sept. 18 and Nov. 14.
