The three-vehicle crash happened on a stretch of Highway 7 between Slanted Road and River Road Monday morning around seven.
Police say one of the drivers, a 21-year-old man from Peterborough, suffered life-threatening injuries and was transported via air ambulance to a trauma centre. Two other drivers, a 74-year-old man from Fenelon Falls and a 59-year-old man from Cameron, were taken to a local hospital for treatment of undisclosed injuries.
