Students and staff at a Huntsville elementary school were evacuated Thursday morning.
Trillium Lakelands District School Board says the evacuation at Riverside Public School was the result of a false alarm.
Emergency services were called to investigate the situation, and found the fire alarm was triggered by various sensors.
By 11:30 a.m., the board confirmed students and staff had returned indoors and classes resumed as usual at the Brunel Road school.
