Police took one person into custody following an early morning investigation in Georgina.

Police have taken one man into custody in Georgina following an early morning investigation.

York Regional Police had closed off surrounding roads early Tuesday morning as they set up a command post near Courting House Place and Birch Road.

York Regional Police say Metro Road North was closed between Brule Lakeway and South Drive until around 10:30 a.m.
